1. Puerto Rico (San Juan de Puerto Rico, Barrio Condado) – UMMO, Argentinean grill

This grill-restaurant has cool, café style tables outside, with a modern elegant ambiance inside. The 8 pm breeze and chatter of the guests welcomes you to a delicious variety of Argentinian beef and decadent achuras, mouthwatering salads and choices of wine. I preferred a bottle of champagne “hecho en Mendoza” to go along with my tira de asado and mollejas.
This is a must for those of you who just can´t stay away from a taste of Buenos Aires when in the Caribbean. Leave room for dessert and café. Gerardo, the manager, will make this a truly enjoyable night for you and your guests.

A well organized “parrilla libre” at the northern end of South Beach. A casual bottle of house wine comes with your meal (per person, if you dare). Desserts are scrumptious and café is available. Sorry, but I did not have a chance to taste this place… However, I am told it is an excellent “parrilla” and it was highly recommended.
7. South Beach, Miami, Florida – Baires Grill

Baires Grill is in the heart of South Beach and has a casual but romantic environment, especially when the shadows linger into the night. Very close to the dance scene and the water, steaks and a full “parrilla” can be delightfully accompanied by tasty Argentinian wines from various regions. Typical desserts will make your mouth water and remind you of home. Very enjoyable!!!!
