Buenos Aires (translated as: Fair Winds) is the capital of Argentina. BsAs, as it’s commonly abbreviated, is Argentina’s largest city and port. The city is located on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata.
Buenos Aires has been strongly influenced by European culture, primarily by immigrants from Spain, Germany and Italy. Fútbol (soccer) is the national obsession. It’s a city that never sleeps and it’s quite common for parties to last into the morning. The people are warm, educated and highly opinionated.
